This module gives learners some industry insight into what it takes to build Blockchain solutions, including the ideal team composition and technology stack choices for successful Blockchain project implementations

Learners will be able to:

• Interpret the concept of blockchain technology and its potential to create new and emerging innovative business processes with the current business models in comparison with others industries

• Identify the concept and principles of digitisation applicable for businesses

• Analyse blockchain applications in open-source distributed ledger by assessing their feasibility and costs-benefits of potential innovations.

This module is designed to provide developers with further understanding of Blockchain with respect to architecture development. The main focus is on the technical issues that programmers need to know about blockchain. Learners will have hands-on experience with blockchain technologies. There will be in depth coverage of Ethereum and Bitcoin. Other issues such as security and Blockchain-as-a-service are also covered.
